Nathan Markham is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist based in Ames, Iowa. Singing, playing guitar and piano, and using live looping to build arrangements on the fly, his solo sets move between the classic rock catalog and modern hits, from Tom Petty to Noah Kahan, with his own songs threaded in among them. Before disbanding the group to focus on solo material, he spent years on stage with the band On Maryland, playing events across Iowa and Minnesota including the Surf Ballroom in Clear Lake, the Fourth of July celebration in Charles City, regional concert series, and a long run of private events.
